Big Fish
Updated 4 October 2026
A shared ocean where every bet is a fish with its own fate, until the whale ends the round for everyone.

The round
- Betting
- Bets are open for 6 seconds before the launch (the room default; each room can set 3 to 20 seconds). Fish dropped now enter the water at the launch.
- Live
- The round runs in beats, about 0.34 s each at the start and down to 0.26 s. Every beat a fish eats and its multiplier climbs its own ladder. New fish can be dropped at any time while the round runs, except in its last beat.
- Each fish
- A fish can be eaten by its own predator at any beat — that position loses — while the round goes on for everyone else. A fish that reaches the top of its ladder is cashed out automatically.
- End
- The whale arrives at a beat drawn from the seed and swallows every fish still in the water. In the rare round the whale does not come, the fish still alive at the last beat are cashed out automatically.
- Results
- The results stay on screen for 3.5 seconds, the revealed seed included, and the next betting window opens.
Bets and cash-out
A stake between the room's minimum and maximum, in the operator's currency. Up to 3 fish alive at once per player; drops are unlimited.
A cash-out pays the stake times the fish's multiplier at that beat. Every fish is an independent position with its own outcome.
Automatic orders
Take profit only, executed by the server at every beat. A fish only grows, so there is nothing for a stop loss to catch.
Where the margin is taken
Every fish carries the margin itself: at the default RTP of 97% it is eaten on the drop with probability exactly 3%, whenever it is dropped. So there is no spread on mid-round drops. The expected return is the same for every exit strategy: see Math and RTP.
What sets it apart
- Players watch other people's fish grow, get eaten and escape around their own.
- The whale is a shared cliff edge, and the beats get shorter as the round runs on.

Limits and configuration
The defaults above are per room and configurable: RTP, minimum and maximum stake, maximum win per position, maximum exposure per round, and the betting window (3 to 20 seconds). An operator's own limits can only tighten a room's, never raise them. The full list is in the integration guide.
Fairness
Every round is committed before betting opens and derived from the committed seed with generator bf-0.2.0; the same generator runs in demo and real-money rooms. How to check a round: Provably fair.
